Weighting your Grade Book

Calculating the permanent grade

Due on: September 4th

This will be the step that allows for accurate grade reporting to students and parents. 

​

Learning Goal:

You will be able to set up the category and term weights in PowerTeacher Pro.

​

Objectives:

  • You will learn how to access the weighting page.

  • You will learn the difference between term weights and category weights. 

  • You learn how to manipulate the weighing tool.

​

Purpose:

Weighting your gradebook is how you establish the grade calculations.

​

Scoring: 10 points

During  our meeting we will:

  • answer questions and discuss general Schoology questions

  • Meet in breakout rooms based on our specific Schoology  gradebook needs

  • You will need to "knock" to get into the room  to avoid uninvited guests
