Syncing your Schoology and PTP Gradebooks

Due: End of Six Week Grading Period

Before you can sync your gradebooks, you will want to create categories in both Schoology and PTP Gradebooks. If you need help with this please go to the Grading Categories Part  I and Part II Lessons.

Learning  Goal:

You will learn how to sync your gradebooks.

​

Objectives:

  • You will learn how to find the gradebook configuration tools

  • You will learn how to select the categories to sync

  • You will share your grading reflection with other teachers and discuss grading philosophies.

​

Purpose:

The purpose of this activity is to configure your grades books so they sync.

​

Let's Jam!

With this lesson, we are going to get social! Now that you have spent sometime developing your grading philosophy, it is time to stand behind your beliefs. We are going to participate in an Asynchronous Silent Conversation. You will have a  conversation with your peers on you own time and without talking.

Directions:
1. On each page there is a statement related to grading practices. Read that question and develop your own thinking related to that question. 
2. Share your thinking by adding a text box or a sticky note.
3. Review other's thinking on the page.
4. React to your peer(s) by creating a text box or sticky note. Let others know that you are responding to a specific comment by using the drawing tool to draw lines or arrows.

Expectations:

  • At least 3 posts

  • At least 6 comments

  • Keep it positive
