Purpose: To develop an understand of how to access the instructor app and how to utilize it effectively.

Evaluation: Use the checklist to be sure you have properly installed the app and can access your courses.

Scoring:
This is not worth PD points as there is no District Requirement to put the app on your personal device.

Using the Schoology App
Logging-in to the App
Parents can use the following steps to log-in to the Schoology Mobile App:

Tap Continue

Enter your email address and password
-
Tap Log-in to access Schoology
Students and Teachers can access their LSR-7 Schoology account using the School or Domain log-in box and searching for "Lee's Summit R-7 School District"
Navigating the App

The Schoology app navigation menu allows you to quickly navigate to essential locations within your account. Tapping the navigation menu in the top left corner of the screen gives you immediate access to:

Your Profile: Tap your name to view your account profile.

Notifications: Alerts about your own Schoology activity.

My Children: View your child's activity, including their courses, groups, calendar, grades, attendance, and more.

Courses: View courses in which you are directly enrolled.

Groups: View groups in which you are directly enrolled.

Resources: View resources shared from groups.

Grades: View grades you've received.

Calendar: View your own calendar.

Settings: Configure settings for your account.

Logout: Log out of the Schoology App

Schoology sends you email notifications for Course, Group, and School activity that occurs in your account. Learn how to enable push notifications to your mobile device.
